What I love about Nova Scotia...
I just got back from Nova Scotia. What’s not to love? Blueberry fritters, blueberry pie, blueberry grunt, fabulous scenery and wonderful independent book stores. Here are a few of my favourite things…birch trees by the sea; the ship Hector in Pictou; reading in the Pictou Library (where they LOVE Captain Underpants); The Box of Delights Book Shop in Wolfville; reading at Frog Hollow Books in Halifax; and The Bisuit Eater Cafe/Bookstore in Mahone Bay. I also love any painting by Maud Lewis, so I’ve thrown in one of those too!
