It may come as a surprise to readers who know me as a writer of murder and psychological suspense to find that before I wrote thrillers, I wrote comedies. I published two books that I’m quite proud of, THINGS GO FLYING and HAPPINESS ECONOMICS, with a small Canadian press, Brindle & Glass. They are being reissued now, in new covers, by Doubleday Canada, in audio and ebook formats. I hope some of you find your way to these earlier books, which are quite close to my heart.
